DESCRIPTION
You might remember I've structured a page like this once before. In that I mean a series of rapid fire panels where character A isn't really listening to character B. It was with Elianna and Tenma way back on page 120. I liked the concept and wanted to revisit it. Maybe in another 300 pages or so I'll come back around again.
Went deliberately cartoony pretty hard on this page because it was a convenient way for Abbey to have a dramatic meltdown at her rejection without it being a sad thing to witness for the reader. Abbey's being checked in a way she kinda deserves here so I didn't want the presentation to come off as dark in any way. So don't worry about Abbey. As the end of the page implies, she's already got a plan to bounce back.
