I imagine a Mindscape works like a sort of Virtual Collaborative Whiteboard. You imagine an object or a scene and the app makes it feel like reality. But it has no intelligence or automation. Nothing happens in it unless you visualize that thing happening.
Now, it would be possible to play a game in a mindscape, but it would be more like playing pretend in the schoolyard with friends, or playing a board game, or a pen and paper game collaboratively or with a game master.
