ELIAN [35mm]

I took these photos with the Elan 7ne and beautiful Portra 400. I believe they are some of the best shots I've taken in 35mm, and I'm extremely happy with the tones in the development and scanning by Richard Photolab.

I won't lie; I was a bit apprehensive because it was my first time using the Elan, and I didn't trust its light meter much. However, being one of the 'more modern' models with high speeds, fractions of speeds, and using my Sigma lenses for regular sessions (35mm and 50mm 1.4 Sigma Art) made the experience much easier. I loved being able to shoot at f/1.4 in some shots, as my Pentax limits me to its f/2.4 lens and 1/1000 speed. In the end, I loved the result, both outdoors and indoors.

The last photo was an extra one we took with the Minolta as a memory of that day.

Estas fotos las hice con la Elan 7ne y puro hermoso Portra 400. Creo que son de las mejores fotos que he tomado en 35mm y donde me he quedado más feliz en cuanto a los tonos del revelado y escaneado por parte de Richard Photolab.

No voy a mentir, la verdad estaba un poco temeroso porque era la primera vez que usaba la Elan y no confiaba tanto en su exposímetro. Sin embargo, el hecho de que sea uno de los modelos 'más modernos', con velocidades altas y fracciones de velocidades, y que le haya puesto mis lentes Sigma que uso para las sesiones normales (35mm y 50mm 1.4 Sigma Art), pues, claro, hizo mucho más fácil la experiencia. Amé mucho poder tomar en 1.4 de apertura en algunas tomas, ya que con la Pentax me limita su F2.4 del lente y su 1/1000 de velocidad. Al final, me encantó muchísimo el resultado, tanto en exterior como en interior.

La última foto fue una extra que tomamos con la Minolta Panorama como recuerdo de ese día.
