Hello again, here's a quick Sunday update for you all!I've been working hard on the final Maya/Mia outfit, the bunny suit, which will be a reward for collecting all the trophies in the game (along with a new poster). I've already completed both of Mia's sprite variants, and 5/10 of Maya's sprite variants so far, and I think it'll be implemented and ready to go by the end of next week. I've also redesigned the final main screen to look as similar to the source material as possible, for ultimate immersion!! A note on the trophy system and my dev focus in general in this final stage:I'm making a lot of these extras with "the game as a whole" in mind, meaning that they're meant to provoke intrigue, and to encourage exploration and replayability, particularly for the first time players of Maya's Mission. For those of us (including me), who have played the game a ton of times already, I'll be sure to add some shortcuts to the rewards, in case you just want to skip to the new stuff! >:]
In other news, the poll results are mostly what I expected after the feedback I've had so far, except I didn't expect so many of you to vote to let me do whatever I want. Thank you all so much for your trust, I won't let you down.I think my loose plan is to make an original game next, and to create some sort of goal where if we reach it, I'll let YOU decide exactly what DLC I make afterwards, whether it be Maya's Mission or KPA. Regarding the content of my original game... I've already got some irons in the fire, but I'm not willing to let the cat out of the bag just yet!That's it for now, I'll keep you all updated as things advance.
