Layout for the upcoming Judy/V animation! Decided to make the setting a car interior (a bit naughty, but hopefully suits Cyberpunk's general vibe lol)
Normally I model the assets used in backgrounds myself, but the car model in this layout was actually extracted from the game (with a few modeling tweaks from me). Modeling cars is quite time-consuming – would rather roll with the already nicely modeled in-game asset and focus more time on the character animation instead...
Didn't have any experience extracting models from games before but thankfully a community-made modding tool called WolvenKit made the process pretty easy! Also, for anyone curious, the interior is from the Quadra Sport R-7 "Chiaroscuro" 🚗 I'll give it proper lighting and paintover later down the line ⭐
Also afaik the default, canonical V has mantis blade cyberware but I gave her gorilla arms here because I think they look better than retracted mantis blades okok
For the animation, I'm planning on delving deeper into 2D rigs, fingers crossed it goes well because, well, I love you Judy but if I have to animate your tattoos frame-by-frame I think I'm gonna develop cyberpsychosis ahaha...
