Next thing to do is sort out and finalize the background, then move on to the styleframe and final comp ✨ A few details are will be added later (such as some liquid, ahem)
This time around, I sketched a couple keyframes in CSP and then took my first major foray into 2D rigging in Moho for cleanup/inbetweening (though, their faces and some other elements were animated frame-by-frame as usual, since I wasn't sure I could get the result I wanted with rigging).
I usually share an animation's tiedown pass once its complete, but since there isn't really a tiedown for this one besides a few frames, I decided to hold off until the cleanup stage—thanks everyone for your patience!
Took awhile to familiarize myself with Moho, but I'm quite satisfied with the result I got with it and look forward to using it in my process for future animations! Although 2D rigging has limitations of its own, it definitely has some advantages over drawing each frame by hand; for example, Judy's tattoos would have been a nightmare to track frame-by-frame but went quite smoothly with a rig 🌹🕸️🐾
