HuntersThe other side of the mountains is a very interesting place, as there are no major realms or cities found in this region. There are still many different folks living here, mostly in their tiny settlements, but the most interesting ones are the nomadic tribes of snow leopards. The nomads of the mountains are always on the move, so most of their food comes from hunting. Thanks to their knowledge about the passes of the mountains and their secret way to cross the most dangerous ones, they can access many different hunting grounds and use their resources to enrich their tribes.
Travelling BuddyMost foxes enjoy their laid-back lifestyle in the pass, but some of them prefer a more adventurous life, and that's when the nomads come in the picture. The nomads let everyone to join their journey if they are proven useful to the tribe. Foxes know a lot of thing the nomads don't, and they don't eat as much as a leopard, so they usually are allowed to travel with the tribe. Even though, long travels are not for the fox kind as they get attached to places easily, so their adventure typically ends when they find the perfect spot to settle. According to old stories, that's exactly how the first foxes got to the Fox Pass, way before it got its name.
Tribes' MeetingThe nomadic tribes are gathering to cross the well-known and feared Forbidden Pass together. This pass is avoided by most travellers as its unpredictable weather makes the journey very dangerous and nearly impossible, however, the nomads know how to cross such places. It's the shamans' duty to clear up the storm, and their work said to involve ancient dragons that mere nomads are not allowed to see. While waiting for the shamans' return, the tribes have plenty of time to trade and catch up with each other, and providing an opportunity to the leaders to discuss their future paths of travels.
