We are returning to the modern world for a few months, and see what the dwellers of the city are doing in the summer season.

Free ServiceThe car wash gets a lot of new customers during this season, a lot more than they can normally serve, so this time of the year is also used to train new staff members or provide an oppotunity for volunteers to try their hands at this job. Folks waiting for their turn now can choose to help out these newbies and get a free cleaning in return, of course if they don't mind the quality of the work or the occasional damage to their cars.

Roleplay AdventureThe roleplay club decided to take their game outdoors, so they can also enjoy this good weather. Last time they had someone outside of their group to play the part of the final boss, but now he's back to join their party for further adventures. He also wanted to keep his character from the previous game, as he really enjoyed that role, but sadly there is no playable minotaur class in the version of the game they are playing. Or at least currently. The tale teller enjoys these kind of challenges, so she agreed to bend the rules a little bit and make something up for him on the spot.

Fast FoodThere's a new fast food place opening in the suburbs, and a certain dalmatian wanted to try it out the moment she heard about it from her friends. Of course, she didn't want to walk there from the downtown or getting on a boring bus, so her only option is to nag her roommate for a free ride. Unexpectedly, he agreed to take her to that far away place without much resistance, as it turned out his old buddy is working there right now, and that means they have a good chance to get a discount.

StargazingParks of the suburban area are popular places for nighttime hangouts for all kind of folks, especially in the warmer seasons. After spending their day in the sunny hot weather, it's good to lean back at the end of the day and enjoy the cool air of the night and the calmess of this place. With less lighting than the typical parks in the inner city, they can even see the stars here, and share their knowledge and stories about them with their friends.
