Hello Humans,
The final "thing" for September is a video demo in musical magick - how to make your own audio sigil.
This is something I've used many times when I'm stuck on a song, want to put something intentional into my music, or I'm just bored and looking for inspiration.
If you’ve ever wondered how a symbol of intent might translate into sound, I walk you through the whole thing, using a witches’ circle, some old sheet music, a ruler, a pencil, and a piano.
I love this method because it’s a little random and strange, but the result is always personal, even if two people use the same sheet music, their sigils will sound different. The video includes close-ups of the page and the piano so you can copy my technique step-by-step.
After the sigil is written I add structure and chords and turn it into a miniature piece. This one came out pretty good!
Want your own audio sigil? Leave your name or your chosen word in the comments and I'll make it happen :)
Thank you for your support throughout September - next month I have so much more music and magick to share with you.
Love,
Mishkin
