Victoria's tour of ice cream heaven continues with a closer look at the mixing process. It would not be too controversial to say that the industrialization of the food industry is something of a mixed blessing for the modern world. Its benefits can't be understated, of course: safe, plentiful, delicious food is available to us in great quantities, often at the touch of a button. Of course, factory produced food often lacks that home grown appeal no matter how sincere the manufacturing process.
Dairy Princess may be the exception here, it's obvious how much care and attention goes into every tub, stick, or whimsical shape of ice cream they make. There are dangers inherent in the process, though, especially if you're a reporter who, maybe, recently had some work done and you haven't quite gotten used to your larger bazookas and, more importantly, how much space they take up in front of you. Oh well, all we can do is live and learn!
