Fresh from her narrow escape at the loading dock, Victoria is escorted to the tasting room by the drone that rescued her. Unused to indoor air travel, Victoria requests to be dropped off: a wish that is quickly granted. Now she finds herself in the fabled tasting room, where visitors can sample all the wacky wild flavors of Dairy Princess ice cream. What fun! Or it will be, once Victoria picks herself off the floor.
If I think a pose is going to be tricky, I'll often take one of the digital mannequins in my drawing program, pose it in roughly the right way, and use it as a reference to draw from. It works pretty well most of the time, but the mannequins have their limitations, and every once in a while I'll run into a pose that I just can't bend them into. Victoria's landing position in panel three is one of those. Try as I might, I couldn't get that mannequin into a pose that looked right, so I ended up playing it by ear. It was probably for the best as that pose, which is not dissimilar to the Jack-o pose that made the internet rounds not too long ago, is likely not something a human being that isn't a double jointed contortionist could normally do.
