Continuing on my quest to get with the yoots of today, I bring you a user request that's been ripped from last years headlines: yes, it's Roomy from the K-Mart Devil Finders! I made some little name changes in the title because I'm a little leery of doing an IP that's this fresh in the minds of the public, but rest assured that's her up there. Since I was already doing trendy things, I figured why not do that thing I see a lot of other artists in my field are doing and put all the attire on separate layers so that I can make some fun variations. Now you have see through variations, all the way down to my favorite: birthday suit! In fact, this was so much fun to do, in fact, that you'll probably be seeing it again in the near future with other one offs, so watch out for that!
Not much more to say about this one, other than characters that were designed for CGI are a lot more complicated to draw than ones made for 2D animation. This is probably owing to the fact that CGI doesn't mind rendering a bunch of fiddly details where 2D characters tend to be a bit more streamlined in their design. Luckily, I'm not doing a comic about this chick, so it's all good.
