Hey there!As you may have seen with the 300ppi PDF Archive Post from earlier today I am changing some things on the Cloud.
This is mainly because I'm unfortunately reaching the limits of my Nextcloud capacity (1TB) and got a little panicked today.
As already mentioned in the archive post, I will no longer be creating the gridded 300ppi PDFs in the future, but I have created the archive post for the existing ones so that you can continue to access them.
Based on the Poll (and my personal preferences as well) I will still offer the other formats (300 & 100ppi JPGs and ungridded 100ppi WEBPs including overlays) as you are used to.
While my buddy is also preparing the Patreon posts (which are primarily intended to provide an alternative way of accessing the cloud), he also been noticing that some PNGs and 300ppi webp files have crept into the workflow. Since I try to keep the file formats offered as uniform as possible and not put unnecessary strain on the cloud (and some individual files had file sizes of over 400mb), these have now been removed from the cloud.
I'm very sorry if this comes a little suddenly! Due to my "Panic Mode" I now feel that I have been acting a bit too fast and should've giving you a fair warning beforehand :(
BUT: If you urgently need other formats or similar that you cannot find on the cloud, please let me know and I will send them to you! (If several people request the same things, I will see if I can create further “archive” posts for them). Once again, apologies for the spontaneous handling today!
In this context, I am still continuing to look for ways to reduce the “burden” on the cloud and hope that I can delay the expansion of storage space a little longer (as this would involve significantly higher costs) without compromising the advantages of the cloud or reducing your benefits.
So if any of you have ideas or are familiar with (Next) Cloud architecture, please get in touch - I would definitely appreciate your input! But for now I won't change anything more without giving you a proper heads up!
