DESCRIPTION

Heya everyone!

Now that we are three-quarter of the way through the Cyberpunk-y streets theme it is time to determine where we want to spend our next day at!

Here are just a few thoughts on what I’ve learned from the latest content packs so far and how it will probably affect future content packs. So an optional read, but feel free to read if you’re interested XD

I definitely learned a lot from the last few content packs. And while I took a slightly different approach with each one, I identified pros and cons in each that I tried to apply to the next project.

For example, it was fun to design the tower, but I realized that you should have a well-developed concept before you start on the first maps and release them, because otherwise you end up working with a concept where you realize it might not work so well on the upper floors XD That's why I took my time for the concept of the University XD But it’s still quite messy to work on only parts of a large map. And I found it a bit annoying that I couldn’t release some content until the end of the entire pack (like the abandoned versions of the maps and rooms). So with the Cyberpunk-y streets, I went back to standalone maps, which I actually find very pleasant, but since I just can’t seem to make smaller maps, it takes correspondingly longer, and I feel like it takes up a bit too much time overall to dedicate four parts to just one theme. Especially since I guess there are quite a few people here that play pretty different scenarios.

So long story short: I’ll keep trying to fine-tune my concept and learn from the process. But for the next projects, I will try and offer themes that can be wrapped up in 1 to 2 parts. This way, you'll have more opportunities to vote on new topics more frequently, and the content pack themes will be a bit more diverse again in the hope there will be more content that is a great fit for your tables. For now I think I’ll stick with standalone maps, since it’s just easier to manage (and feels good to really finish sth up in between XD).

Of course I would be very happy if you could share some feedback or your thoughts on it!

Still in the early stages of the 4th part of the Cyberpunk-y Streets. This one will be a chase through the city (I hope XD Am working on a concept atm that will hopefully work out as I imagine it). I will share some first ideas and WIPs on the a day at Discord Server soon(ish) and as soon as I have the Assets finished I will share a Sneak Peek here on Patreon.

(So if you have certain wishes, especially for assets, that you would like to see included in this content pack now is the last chance!)

But of course I also want to give you some time to properly vote for the next content pack theme and it is always good to know what will be next a bit in advance XD

Also I would like to take this opportunity once again to shout out a big THANK YOU!Your support means the world to me! And I am so happy that you're enabling me to keep working on this amazing project! You are an amazing community and it's such a delight to create content for you!

And of course a big thank you to all who submitted theme suggestions as well!

I wish you all a great Friday and upcoming Weekend!

Greetings from Ana
