With my shoulder nicely broken, I spent the rest of the day just eating the flesh of that damned tiger. All the while, I worked to soothe and embrace the tiger's Supergene core into myself.
[Super tier geno points gained!] It rang out after I absorbed the final bits of energy from the Super geno core that began to lose it's light and then break apart.
All the while, I could feel my body flushing with power. As once again, the super-tiered genetic infusion is very. VERY clearly felt as the power rushed literally through my veins and elevate my bodily strength.
'Once I max out my Super and Sacred Blood points, and I get the Super tier body when I am elevated to the second level of the Sanctuary. I will need to focus on trying to learn Life Return as well. It could be a good way for me to feel out my Gene Locks and such in the future.' I thought.
As for right now and before. Life Return took too much locked-down training, and such time was far better spent actually getting stronger via just eating Sanctuary beasts.
And seeing as even after I put my shoulder back in place. I had to just relax there for another three days as I finished eating that tiger's flesh. I kept myself busy as I trained with the Jade Skin Sutra.
'The Jade Skin Sutra is pretty nice, even if it doesn't have any true offensive means to it. Having even just my skin take on the durability of polished jade is useful.' I mused to myself as my ultra pale skin as I channeled the geno martial art, which was rather 'beautiful' to look at.
As of right now I had already mastered the first step in the Jade Skin Sutra, turning my skin into 'Jade Skin,' and next I would need to turn my muscles into it for the next level. Which would also allow me a lesser version of Life Return anyway.
And lastly I would turn my bones into 'jade' at the stage of Mastery of the Jade Skin Sutra. Which would grant me a great amount of extra strength, allow me to resist poisons, and deal with adverse temperatures as well!
All things that would very much help me in the Sanctuary, as literally every single life form here in the Sanctuary was dangerous to some extent.

Besides just training with the Jade Skin Sutra, I also trained with the new Tiger Saber I got from that tiger beast. Besides, it not being covered in neurotoxins like my spear. It was still the strongest weapon I had currently.
"You went further south... Hopefully you didn't go through the Blacksteel Shelter." I muttered helplessly as I noted the direction the Golden Lion Beast went. Was headed generally back towards home.
But thankfully, it wasn't the case as I followed the lion's tracks through the nearby mountains. Following the deep gashes, its powerful claws made in the ground as it traveled was an easy matter.
Plus it seemed the lion just... Didn't give a damn about the tracks it left. Which to be fair. It was a giant lion that was bigger than a bull elephant back in my old world.
Even here in the first Sanctuary, only some really weird Sacred Blood creatures could remotely threaten it with poison and such.
It took another day of traveling but I soon found the still very much in labor Golden Lion Beast. She was ungracefully laid out across a large clearing that it had made in a small patch of forest.
Her breath was strong... But also weak. I could tell her lifeforce and will to leave had withered greatly from the trials of this birth that was weighing on her.
And for a good minute I just watched her form before I couldn't help a snort as I realized this damned lion was still looking around. Just... Fucking waiting for someone to 'try' to mess with her.
As paying more attention to the surrounding's I saw in the distance several blood splatter and the remains of what looked like a pack of mutant-tier wolves that tried to mess with the lion.
Clearly, this small forest was normally the pack's territory until she hobbled in like a murderhobo. And the brutalized pack's blood was a dry and dull thing already at this point as I was upwind of the Golden Lion Beast.
Looking at the golden lion beast in particular... I considered if I should actually press on this actually. I had my Haki which even without it being the red enhanced Haki that could do internal damage specifcally. With my Super tier saber, I was fairly sure I could cut through her flesh.
As this saber was from that super tier tiger... If it could naturally bite through the lion's flesh to an extent. Then with my Haki I had every reason to believe I could do the same.
The question was simple. Was challenging the Lion in the first place a good idea when I could wait for her to die of exhaustion over...
"Wait... I have zero fucking clue how much longer this tiger is still going to be in labor. I can't wait for weeks for some cultivation nonsense pregnancy to finally go through!" I muttered in annoyance.
That realization made me pause.
As I had a big titty red head waiting for me at home. Waiting for me to become a full caveman to provide beasts for us to both finish up our Sacred Blood geno points!
My grasp on the rough handle that had a strip of tiger thick tiger fur across the top of the massive curved saber audibly ground on the handle.
"Yeah. I can't just leave Mio waiting out in the real world for me to wait for your already dying wretched form to pass on. Sorry, but I need to kill you to keep up my previous plans if I want to play some grab ass."
And as I hefted my saber on my shoulder... I coudn't help but realize that I kinda had a Toji Fushiguro aesthetic right now as I hadn't put my beast soul armor on just yet.
The realization made me chuckle as I also realized with the way I had stolen the Jade Sutra from the powerful Xue family... I really did have some Toji vibes going on with my extreme physical powers that made all my peers into something I could trample at will!
"Haha! Wake the fuck up! I at least am going to offer you a wake up call!" I called out confidently as I approached the Lion beast that sat up with a scowl as she looked at me with annoyance.
And... She allowed me to approach with just a fucking bored look in her eye's. Not even considering me a threat somehow, and then it hit me.
This lion had dealt with humans before. And it had assuredly shredded humans who hadn't filled out their Sacred Blood points, let alone having gotten most of their Super gene points.
She literally had zero fucking clue what I could do.
That overconfidence was the Golden Lion's Beast's undoing. As I knew I didn't need to fight it brutally to the death. I pushed my body to it's limit as I used the Jade Sutra to enhance my strength as much as possible.
And with my sword flooded with Haki that turned its fang curved like a sword, black as night. I tore through the air with a Soru and with a flash of torn flesh and thick metallic fur that screamed as I cut through it.
As I shot past the Lion beast at such speed that I skipped across the ground as I couldn't stop myself properly and smashed through a tree with my body. A loud gurgle rang out from the lion as a soft but very audible spray of fluid rang out as I had carved out a massive gash through its neck.
The Golden Lion Beast staggered to it's feet with fury clear in it's gaze. But having torn out more than half of its throat with my oversized saber, I could only smile helplessly as I stepped back shamelessly and said.
"Alrighty then... Now I can just wait for you to die in a timely manner!"
