Normally sticking inside of a moving vehicle for an entire day was an exhausting thing. Both mentally and physically draining the person driving the vehicle especially.
But Matsu had already mentally synched up with the tank to control it. While also disabling some trackers and... Other things that Tabane had left in the tank that was loaned to us.
But otherwise? The tank itself had energy shields, it was quiet, and I had a few books to keep myself busy trying to get new skills with. While Feixiao and Rangiku casually drank a bit for the first day for our entertainment.
Day two, we had made it through the island resort realm with the ladies taking turns driving through the night. And the resort realm was a weird realm of dozen's of islands spread across a beautiful shallow sea that was filled with a lot of life.
Very, very fucking hostile wildlife that constantly leaped up from the water to attack our tank, which was thankfully energy shield-covered. And the wildlife was... Almost normal, except for having clearly evolved into hyper-aggressive life forms.
I saw several giant sharks that had catfish-like whiskers that could arc lightning between them. I saw a giant turtle that could teleport itself, and it tried to fall shell-first onto the tank to attack us.
But... It's shell wasn't actually that strong so when it slammed down onto the tank that was flying through the air at a good speed. It just exploded into a bloody mess against the energy shield that covered said tank.
And with a flicker of light I smiled as the book. 'To fly upon lies.' Broke apart and I mentally read the skill I got from the book after finishing the book in question. [Spirit Guidance Lvl 1- User now may shift pure mana into spiritually based energy and shape it.]
Spiritual energy was another form of energy of course. But it's uses obviously lied on the more spiritual side. A bolt of spiritual lightning I formed would be far more effective on a ghost for example then a normal bolt of lightning.
And of course, my smile was even greater as I saw Rangiku perk up as she said in confusion, "Did you just make Reishi or something Jake?"
I nodded as I said with a smile. "Yeah, I got a Skill that allows me to make spiritual energy in particular. Whis is basically Reishi from your home universe, one could say."
Well I imagine it was more nuanced and complicated. I imagine Kisuke and some other scientist types from the Bleach Universe would very much like to tell me I very much wrong as well.
But I had the Gamer power! Their power system was mine as I ran off of gamer logic and overly complicated magic systems and any clashing between said power systems were for pussies!
"Sooooo, can we open up the tank hatch so she can teach me how to shoot spells from her world?" I asked with a hopeful grin towards both Rangiku and Feixiao.
The two women looked liked they would rather say no... Until I whipped out a couple of bottles of premium booze which made both pause, with Feixiao saying seriously. "Good alchole is a premium product for trade with how terrible life is in these realms. If you are going to volunteer such premium things for the group then we can't mistreat you!"
Rangiku on the other hand, was already hiding the bottle of high-quality whiskey into her own private bag's. And after shamelessly putting an extra lock in her bag's zipper section.
The honey blond-haired beauty got up and said with an air of a proud teacher even as half of her giant tits were exposed with how she kept her robes open.
"Well then! I suppose then I should get to the very start of things if you want to learn Kido, Jake."
Rangiku took a deep breath before she began to explain the way Shinigami's used their 'magic system' in Kido. Which had three main path's through in the power system of Kido.
First there was Bakudo, which was generally defensive, communication, binding, tracking and sealing spells. While Hado spells were truly offensive-themed. And lastly, there was an entire subset of Kido aimed at barriers and sealing.
And the third section's sealing' was different from the first, as they were semi or truly permanent seals. Like the seal that Kisuke used to turn Aizen at the end of the fight with Ichigo into a piece of modern art.
"Now... While I have learned some Bakudo spells, as I needed to actually become a lieutenant. I was always better more at the elemental Hado spells. So let's just skip right to the fun part where you get to blow up some evil fish and stuff!"
We then opened up the top of the tank and Rangiku then began to explain the first and most simple Hado spell. Which was simply called 'Sho'.
"The premise of Sho is to just form an orb of spiritual energy at the tip of your two pointed fingers like this." Rangiku explained while pointing her pointer and middle finger towards the wall of the tank.
"And then with your spiritual energy, you just need to ultra compress some air into the orb itself. So that when you release control of the spell it will shoot forward and explode with a good bit of force."
Rangiku's massive milkers happily bounced as Rangiku giggled and said helplessly. "It's a very much non-lethal spell Jake. The force it takes to make it lethal is spent far better on an innately powerful later spell. But it is good at just knocking people back when you get it down to be able to cast it without an incantation!"
I experimentally pushed pure spiritual energy towards my pointed fingers which were aiming towards the opening in the tank.
And with a sharp hissing noise, a small bullet of spiritual energy and air shot out from my pointed fingers. With the gamer system pinging out two new skills. First was for the spell Sho which I could now cast with just normal mana as well!
As well as a general skill for Kido, which gave me a bonus to damage/power of the spells and a discount on the mana cost of the spells! Which was the best part of the skill obviously!
"Well... That was easy." I said with a shrug.
My casual remark visibly made Rangiku's face twitch in such a funny way that Matsu who had been watching with interest. Cackle in her laughter at Rangiku's even more constipated expression at how I was clearly cheating with my Gamer powers.
