DESCRIPTION

Time passed by all to swiftly with the mindset of the undying fair folk. After returning back to Rivendell and having that lightning struck trunk brought back. I got to work under the advicement of my mother and several other interested elves.

As it was clear to all who was watching. I was singing a new song of life into the bow, and the arrows I crafting. The long dead and charred wood glowed with the gleaming golden order within my blood. And it's wooden veins glittered with sparkling star light.

Likewise with the arrows. I took extra care to make them as durable as I could with Lord Elrond supplying mythril tips to be fitted at the end of the arrows.

"Hmm, you have already made your own bow's body. Not even a short bow, but a war bow you will need to grow into, to properly even use." Celestine gently chided me as she helped me thread together her own immortal hair she had lost over the many years to help me make the string for the bow.

I leaned into Celestine's side as I smiled and said softly. "A child grows evantually. However slowly it may be even for our own kin."

To which Celestine chuckled like a dozen soft chimes ringing out with the wind as she retorted. "You haven't even crossed the centenial mark Othorion, and even then. It will be a thousand years before I even consider stop worrying about you."

I smiled helplessly before I said. "Speaking of worrying about me. I was thinking about camping outside of Rivendell for a couple days again with Sergei. I plan to do some fishing, and maybe gather a bunch of berries before the coming winter. So that we can make some preserves and pies."

Celestine was silent for a moment before she sighed and said with a shake of the head. "Just so long as you promise not to go far Otharion. And no longer than seven days may you be out! Or I will beg the Lady to ride out and drag you back by your ears." She said firmly.

'Will leaving this entire world just outside of Rivendell count? I mean technically I wouldn't be going far.' I thought with a bit of guilt.

Because now with my bow ready. I was feeling ready. I wanted to see more then just Rivendell for the next century of my life before things became 'interesting'.

It was time for me to truly explore the world of the Lands Between!

I then strung my bow together carefully. Making sure that it's tension was right even as my adoptive mother's hair took on a stronger golden glow as her hair synched up with the blessing of Order and lightning that primarily ran through my bow.

The rest of the day went just as expected as Celestine puttered about. Making doubly sure that even with how I was camping just outside of the elven hold that I would be prepared for most anything.

But soon enough it was the late afternoon and I managed to escape with only slightly elven grace then was the norm as I leapt across the slick stones to get across the river towards the nearby forest.

Once I reached the forest I let out a sharp whistle that rose and fell several times to tell Sergei where I was.

And after a couple more whistles as I moved deeper into the forest. My beloved elephant sized bear found me with heavy huffs that turned into happy chuffs as I fed him a blueberry sauce covered filet of smoked fish.

"Come on Sergei... It's time we explore your own world." I said softly as I threaded my hand through the Runebear's rocky silver fur with the large bear grumbling in agreement.

Or at least I hoped it was agreement. It would be rather pitiful if he panicked as we came out of the teleport and tried to maul me out of suprise.

With a deep breath I pulled at my divine blood. The star's above my head glowed ever brighter as I called out to the Lands Between. And while riding atop Sergei's back, my entire body glowed with golden motes of light like fire flies gently shot out.

Then a swirling of mist surrounded us. And Sergei grunted as his feet left the floor of the soft forest and even I jolted as a loud crackle of lightning hit our ears.

Then the mist faded... And I blinked as this wasn't where I came in from last time? The last time I jumped into the world just to test things. I was in an autumn forest? But now, misty marshland filled my view.

"Where... Are we in Liurnia?" I muttered with a tilt of my head as I looked around. But the forest although thinner then the forests surrounding Rivendell was too thick for me to see the local 'Hogwarts' of Raya Lucaria in the distance.

And looking past the treeline. The star's themselves were of a truly bright level. Which made me think that this truly was probably Liurnia possibly?

Still that wasn't entirely the answer I needed. I wanted to gain strength here, I wanted to learn magic, I wanted to learn miracles.

Most importantly, I wished to hear the tapestry that made up the song of this world in whatever state it was in.

"Let us begone Sergei. Try to find the smell of man, or any other people." I said with my words hitting Sergei ears.

The runebear chuffed thoughtfully but his loud snuffles as he took in the local scents proved the right call. As after a good bit, he moved towards... What should have been to the north.

But this was an entirely new world and the star's above my head were entirely new as well. So I coudn't use them to navigate.

And in the depths of my heart, my inner voice was screaming at me not to pay TOO much attention to the stars above. After all. That way led to madness and the 'appreciation' of some elder god.

We kept moving through the marsh lands with large glowing crystals dotting our vision as we traveled. And after a good while Sergei growled lowly and I quickly saw what had gotten his attention.

In the distance was a large group of people. And for a moment I thought I actually just teleported to the Grey Havens, as they one and all were wearing dark mourning clothes dotted with starlight while hunch backed figures carried basket's of glinstone on their backs.

And they all carried lanterns that had softly glowing star light glinstone shards that light up their ways as they walked along a firm path.

A figure in the middle seemingly still heard Sergei's heavy steps as he took another couple of steps. And the figure spoke out in confusion. "Teacher, there is a Runebear over there with a child riding atop of it that is literally glowing!?"

The frontal figure, who I realized was actually a good deal taller then then other figures as he turned around. Then spoke out in a deep male voice. "What matter of being are you boy? Are you spirit of these marshes or you some noble child of the Capital who has escaped here?"

I tilted my head to the side before I realized his assumption was quite easy to note. As many of the noble families had some level of distant ties to Marika's divine bloodline as Godwin was an utter slut who spread their seed happily.

"I am Otharion of House Elrond." I spoke aloud and I saw all the figures go stiff at my voice for some reason. But still I gave Sergei a light push to come closer as I called out again. "I am a bit lost in these marshes. Could you please point me towards the nearest major settlement?"

Though as I spoke. I coudn't help but note that these people... Didn't stink like the human's of Middle Earth, and I was reminded that soap was actually a thing in this world!
