Hello, this is Team Format 9.This month, we wanted to show you some concept sketches from the creation of MD in Patreon.

Modern AU

The final concept for the 2nd-anniversary pop-up was medical horror, but one of the earlier drafts featured a modern AU of the ALNST characters. This draft was designed with the kitschy and vibrant style of American teen dramas. After the concept was finalized as medical horror, this style was later incorporated into the bunny series.

 Versions drawn to establish a style. The version on the left is kitschy and cheerful, For the version on the right, we wanted to capture the simplicity of a hand-painted classic.
