Alligator and Wizard Lizard almost finished! - Pattern expansion next week

Hello everybunny! We hope you are enjoying your Summer. We're sorry for taking long to post, these months we are living very difficult situations in our personal lives. The last straw was a couple weeks ago, when something so horrible happened, that one of us had to go to the mental health ER and will take antidepressants for a while. We may talk more about this later, but right now it's too recent and we don't feel good talking about it. We hope you can understand this and you can help us get back to full power ❤
But well, not everything is bad news! Finally, today we can show you the finished lizards!! You don't know how hyped and happy we are with the result ;__;
In our last post we showed the lizard with the clothes and hat pattern tests. After that, we quickly started to make the final version. We came up with a fun idea for the appliques. What if we used glow in the dark fabric? It would be so fun and give it a magical touch!
When we finished the clothes, we only had the accessories left. In one hand, the spellbook. It was going to be a small ITH book, but we wanted it to look real and cool. With lots of design work, we got this adorable small spellbook ^^After that, we made the staff. It was more simple, just the 2D shape with some wood effect. Of course we drew inspiration from our mimic for the wood hehehe.And last but not least, the glasses. We used the same technique as Raymond's glasses.
Once we finished the Wizard, we finished the brown alligator. Here you can see how both turned out!! They have some handsewing left, but we'll do it today after the post >:DHonestly this expansion has taken more work than we expeted, but it was totally worth it. Even if they have the same base, each one looks very unique and different. We can't decide which one we lke the most ;___; So please tell us which one you like more!
Now that the plushies are finished, this weekend we will finish the extra instructions for the expansion pack. So next week they will be available as a reward!! We will either make a new post or edit this one once the patterns have been sent. And just for this month, if you don't have the hoodie lizard patterns, we will include them in the reward >w<

Hello everybunny! Esperamos que estéis pasando un verano genial. Sentimos haber tardado en publicar, estos meses estamos teniendo situaciones muy delicadas en nuestra vida personal. Además, hace dos semanas pasó algo muy grave en nuestras vidas. No queremos entrar mucho en el tema, pero una de nosotras ha tenido que ir a urgencias de salud mental y estará un tiempo tomando pastillas antidepresivas. Quizás en otro momento os contamos más, pero ahora es muy reciente y no nos sentimos bien hablando de ello. Esperamos que lo podáis entender y podáis esperar a que volvamos estar al pie del cañón ❤
Pero bueno, no todo son malas noticias! Finalmente, hoy os podemos traer a los lagartos terminados!! No sabéis el hype y lo felices que estamos con el resultado ;__;
En nuestro último post os enseñamos al lagarto con la prueba de patronaje para el gorro y la ropa. Después de esto, nos pusimos rápidamente a pasarlo a limpio. Tuvimos una idea divertida para el aplique. Como se vería si usábamos tela que brilla en la oscuridad? Y no podía quedar más gracioso y bonito! Le da un aspecto aún más mágico.
Al terminar la ropita, sólo nos quedaba trabajar en los accesorios. Por un lado, el libro de hechizos. Aunque iba a ser un ITH pequeño, queríamos que tuviera profundidad y se viera chulo. Y con bastante trabajo de diseño, nos quedó este adorable libro de hechizos ^^Después, hicimos su báculo. Este era más sencillo, simplemente la forma 2D y efecto de madera. Obviamente nos inspiramos en nuestro Mimic para el efecto madera jejeje.Y por último pero no menos importante, hicimos sus gafitas. Usamos el mismo método que usamos para las de Narciso.
Una vez terminamos el mago, nos pusimos a terminar a nuestro aligátor marrón. Y aquí podéis ver como han quedado los dos!! Les falta coser a mano un par de detalles, pero hoy mismo se quedan listos después de publicar el post >:DLa verdad es que esta expansión ha tenido más trabajo del que esperábamos, pero ha valido totalmente la pena. Aunque tengan la misma base, cada uno se ve muy diferente y único. No podemos decir cuál de los dos nos gusta más ;___; Así que decidnos cual os gusta más a vosotres!
Ahora que ya están los bebés terminados, este finde acabaremos las instrucciones extras para la expansión. Así que de cara la semana que viene los tendréis ya disponibles como recompensa!! Haremos un nuevo post o actualizaremos este una vez hayamos enviado los patrones. Y solo por este mes, si no tenéis los patrones base del lagarto, os los incluiremos en la recompensa >w<
Por último estos pequeñines buscan casa. El aligátor marrón ya ha sido precomprado, pero tenéis la oportunidad de llevaros el Wizard Lizard!!
