Work of the week: More lizard expansion WIPs, Moguri WIP and 3D printing practice!

Hello everybunny!We're very excited for today's post >w< It won't be very long, but it has some things that you may like a lot~ let's go with the work of the week.

First, we have been working on the lizard expansion pack. While we already showed you the alligator head, this week we have been working on the Wizard Lizard! This one has the same body as the hoodie lizards, but it will have many new things. Today we'll show you the clothes tests!

We made the hoodie longer to turn it into a tunic. You can also see how his wizard hat turned out. We used the Bunpinyon hats as a base, but it was difficult to modify them to get the shape we wanted here ;_; It was worth it, because he looks SO cute!! What do you think?

Now that the clothes pattern is done, we have to make the final one with the moon and stars embroidery. And of course make his magic staff and spellbook uvu

Now, we had a final idea and we want your opinion. With or without glasses? 👀Please tell us how do you thing it's turning out and if you prefer it with or without glasses!

Setting the lizards aside, we have also been working on commissions and physical plush rewards. One of them is a mini plush we had pending, and it's a Moguri!! The Final Fantasy XIV one.

It doesn't have many details, so we wanted to put special care into the head and body shapes. We also realised that this version doesn't have a big red nose, it's more like a dark colored muzzle.So with some thread sculpting, we defined the muzzle shape a bit better.

And here's the final pattern test! We like how it turned out ^^ We may adjust the proportions a bit, but it will be on the final plush. Our idea at first was to make him completely with rabbit fur. We made the pattern tests with minky to save materials as rabbit fur is expensive, but we honestly don't dislike the fabric combination. We will decide what to do when we make the final one :)

On the other hand, we have been practicing with the 3D printer again. We want to print our first fursuit head base soon with HTRuiz's design that we showed some time ago. So to practice how to print we used a file we found on the internet. It's a D20 fidget!! For the first time, we tried to change the filament mid print to get a print with two different colors.

This is how it turned out. It has elastic band inside that keep all the sides together so you can squish it and play with it. It's so relaxing 💜 It can even roll! We already rolled a couple nat 20s hehehe

Hello everybunny!Hoy os traemos un post con mucho hype >w< no será muy largo, pero tiene cositas que os van a gustar mucho~ vamos con el trabajo de la semana.

Para empezar, hemos estado trabajando en la expansión de los lagartos. Mientras que el Alligator ya os lo enseñamos en el anterior post, esta semana hemos estado trabajando en el Wizard Lizard! Este pequeñín tiene la base igual que los anteriores lagartos, pero llevará muchas cosas nuevas. Y hoy os enseñamos como le queda el test de su ropa nueva!

Hemos alargado la sudadera para que sea una túnica. Y obviamente, podéis ver como le queda su gorrito de mago. Aunque usamos de base el gorro de nuestro Bunpinyon, ha sido bastante difícil sacarle la forma que buscábamos ;_; pero ha valido la pena, porque se ve TAN adorable!! Qué os parece a vosotres??

Ahora que está la base de la ropa hecha, simplemente tenemos que pasarlo a limpio con las estrellas y lunas bordadas. Y, obviamente, hacerle su bastón y libro de magia uvu.

Ahora bien, tuvimos una idea final y queremos vuestra opinión. Con o sin gafas? 👀 Comentadnos como lo vais viendo y si os gusta más con o sin ellas porfa!

Dejando un poco ahora los lagartos, hemos seguido trabajando en encargos y recompensas de peluches físicos. Uno de ellos es un mini peluche que teníamos pendiente, nada más y nada menos que un Moguri!! (La versión de Final Fantasy XIV)

Aunque no tiene muchísimos detalles, hemos querido cuidar la forma de la cabeza y cuerpo. Además de que nos fijamos que esta versión no tiene nariz como tal, sino que tiene un disimulado morrito con el pelo más oscuro. Así que con un poco de Thread sculpt, le marcamos sutilmente la forma.

Y aquí os dejamos como ha quedado la prueba final! Nos encanta como se ve ^^ Como mucho le ajustaremos un poco alguna proporción o lo haremos algo más gordito, pero será ya pasándolo a limpio.

La idea inicial es que fuera todo de rabbit fur, cuerpo y cuello. Hicimos la prueba en minky para ahorrar material, pero la verdad es que no nos disgusta como se ve la combinación de estas telas. Acabaremos de decidirlo cuando lo hagamos a limpio : )

Como lo veis? Habéis reconocido al personaje?

Por otro lado, hemos vuelto a la práctica con la impresora 3D. Pronto queremos imprimir nuestra primera base de fursuit con el diseño de HTRuiz que os enseñamos hace tiempo. Así que para recuperar un poco la idea de cómo usarla, nos imprimimos un archivo que encontramos en internet. Un fidget de dado de 20 caras!! Y por primera vez, practicamos el cambio de filamento para tener dos colores en la impresión.

Y así es como ha quedado el resultado. Tiene cuerdas que unen las piezas por dentro y así se puede aplastar y jugar con él. Es muy reconfortante 💜 y se puede usar para rolear, claro! Ha sacado un par de 20 naturales jejeje

Y hasta aquí sería un poco la update del trabajo semanal! La semana que viene os subiremos a los lagartos terminados.

Antes de irnos, recordad que esta tarde a las 18h tenéis nueva clase de "como hacer patrones de peluches cuadrúpedos". Estaremos encantadas de veros por allí haciéndonos compañía y aprendiendo juntes!!!
