Hello everybunny!First of all, sorry for not posting these past weeks. Apart from work, we have been busy calling banks, LOTS of paperwork and organizing.Because we have great news. Finally, after years of hard work, saving and moving from one place to another looking for an opportunity... We're in the process of buying a house!!! You don't know how happy we are. Owning a home is something really difficult right now. We have looked many places for the best options. Being two freelancers has made it even more difficult.
In the wait of an agent from the bank come see the house, they told us it's 100% viable to give us a loan. So we will soon be able to announce if we finally get it and we sign it. Please, wish us luck ;__;Having stability and a home is everything we dream of ❤
That said, let's show our work from these days ^^Starting with the adorable baby dragon, we have been working on the patterns.Although we had a good base, we needed to do some changes. In one hand, we changed the neck so it isn't leaning so forward. We also improved the arms and feet to define more the fingers. We made the horns, cheek spikes and wings with fabric.We basically improved what we had and made the paper details in fabric!
Once that was done, we made an "item" to see if it looked good holding it. There we realised that we have to change the mouth and arm positions a bit. But it finally looks good!
Finally, we also did the first embroidery tests for the arms. We couldn't decide how to make the scales; if doing full irregular scales or only scale outlines. We asked on social media and Discord and the favorite option was the outlines, but some of you commented that it would depend on the color of the plush. So we have decided that, since we already designed both options, we will give them both in the patterns. This way you can choose the one you like ;) We will make one of each option.
You can see how it's taking shape! We have now to make the face embroidery tests and design the variations (D20, jewel and the other honrs), and we'll start working on the final version.
We're sorry because we won't be able to post the patterns in January, but this month has been really busy and at the end this baby needed more work than we expected. We want to be sure we give you the best version possible ><
Now to commissions, while Cris worked on the new patterns, Jenni made ona of our classic terriermons we had been ordered. It's been a long time since we only made one of the siblings, people usually buy them both, but we're always happy to make Digimon plushies hehehe
This baby has been shipped to his owner already, who told us that she will cosplay Henry! We asked her to please share photos with us when she does, they will sure get lots of love ^^
Finally, we also worked on the kigurumi project. We did the hoodie ambroidery test, and it couldn't look cooler and prettier~ We were afraid that being printed polar fleece, the white would be visible around the embrodiery, but not at all, the quality is perfect.Though it was a huge work with so many appliques and aligning different big hoops. It was crazy hahahaWhat do you think?
With this, we finish today's post! We will try to dinish the baby dragon as soon as possible, we' promise that it will be available in February ^^ We hope you don't mind waiting a bit more to make sure it turns out extra cute 👉👈

Hello everybunny!Primero de todo, perdonad por no subir post estas últimas semanas. Aparte del trabajo, hemos estado bastante ocupadas con llamadas a bancos, haciendo MUCHO papeleo y organizando.Y es que tenemos una gran noticia. Por fin, después de años de mucho trabajo, ahorrar y mudarnos de un lado a otro buscando una oportunidad... Estamos en proceso de que nos den una hipoteca!!! No sabéis lo felices que estamos. Tener una casa es algo muy difícil actualmente. Hemos buscado en muchos sitios hasta encontrar la mejor opción. Ser dos autónomas lo ha dificultado todo mucho.
A falta de que nos hagan una tasación de la casa, en principio nos han dicho que es 100% viable. Así que muy pronto podremos anunciaros si nos la conceden y firmamos. Por favor, cruzad los dedos por nosotras ;___;Tener estabilidad y un hogar es lo único que soñamos ❤
Comentado esto, vamos a enseñaros un poco el trabajo de estos días ^^Empezando por nuestro adorable bebé dragón, hemos seguido trabajando en el patrón. Aunque teníamos una buena base, había que hacer cambios. Por un lado, hemos cambiado el cuello para que no quede tan echado hacia delante. También hemos mejorado los brazos, manos y pies para marcar más los dedos. Hemos hecho los cuernitos y pinchos de las mejillas, así como las alas. En resumen, hemos acabado de mejorar lo que teníamos y hecho todos los pequeños detalles de papel en tela!
Una vez tuvimos eso, hicimos un "objeto" para probar si quedaba bien sujetándolo. Ahí nos dimos cuenta de que teníamos que reajustar un poco la posición de la boca y los brazos. Pero finalmente, encaja bien!
Por último, también aprovechamos a hacer las primeras pruebas de bordado para los brazos. No nos decidíamos en como hacer las escamas; si hacer escamas enteras separadas o algo más sutil como líneas dibujadas. Preguntando en las redes y en el discord, la opción favorita fue la línea, pero algunes también nos comentasteis que dependía de qué color fuera el peluche.Así que finalmente decidimos que, ya que habíamos diseñado ambos, daros ambas opciones en los patrones. Así podéis elegir la que más os guste ; ) Nosotras haremos un dragón de cada
Podéis ver cómo va tomando forma! A falta de hacer las pruebas de bordado de la cara y diseñar las variaciones (dado d20, joya y los otros cuernos), ya podemos empezar a trabajar en la versión a limpio.
Nos sabe mal porque no podremos subirlo para Enero, pero es que ha sido un mes bastante ocupado y al final este pequeñín necesitaba más trabajo del que esperábamos. Queremos asegurarnos de daros la versión más bonita posible ><
Pasando ahora con tema encargos, mientras Cris se dedicaba a patrones nuevos, Jenni hizo uno de nuestros Terriermon clásicos que teníamos encargado. Hacía mucho que no nos pedían solo a uno de los hermanos, normalmente piden la parejita, pero siempre estamos encantadas de hacer peluches de Digimon hehehe
Este bebé se ha ido con su nueva dueña ya, la cual nos ha dicho que hará cosplay de Henry! Le hemos dicho que por favor nos enseñe fotos cuando pueda. Seguro que recibirá mucho amor ^^
Por último, también hemos aprovechado para seguir un poco con nuestro proyecto de Kigurumi. En esta ocasión, hicimos la prueba de bordado de la capucha. Y madre mía, no podría verse más cool y bonita~ Nos daba miedo que al ser polar estampado, fueran a verse partes blancas alrededor del bordado, pero para nada, la calidad es perfecta.Eso sí, un trabajado muy grande de apliques y encajar bastidores. Bastante loco jajaja.Qué os parece a vosotres?
¡Y con esto terminamos con el post de hoy! Intentaremos terminar el dragoncito cuanto antes, pero os aseguramos que en Febrero lo tendréis disponible ^^ esperamos que no os importe esperar un poco más para que quede bien cuqui 👉👈
