Dear diary,
Haha, I didn’t realize today’s chapter would be published for Christmas! Happy holidays, I guess.
The house of cards has finally collapsed, but that only means that a new one must be built, and this time with solid pillars. I won’t lie to you: there will be some bumps in the road; but we already knew that it had to happen sooner or later. After healing wounds and admitting mistakes, spring will come, and the couples who are meant to be together will be. 
In this chapter we see how Oliver behaves in a very uncharacteristic way, but I don’t think that’s an incomprehensible reaction after having heard all of Adara’s lies. Making her read the letter aloud is a way for Bertrán to have the same information as he and Fiorina.
I remember that, when I was writing this chapter, I was thinking about the scene and who should be there. Just Bertrán? The two cousins? All four? At the end there would be Bertrán and Óliver, and then they would go to talk with Fiorina, who wouldn’t want to leave her room. But suddenly it occurred to me that Fio would leave without anyone seeing her, and tell someone she didn’t want to see Adara. I thought it worked well, but then my proofreader suggested that I could change it for something more drastic: Fio didn’t want to see Adara EVER AGAIN. At first, I thought Fio wouldn’t say something like that, but then I understood it made a lot of sense for her to say that at first, and later repent. And it also looked great as a cliffhanger.
(I’ll take this opportunity to add that my Canadian proofreader, Kiley Venables, is the reason why the dialogues of my webcomics are not crowded with mistakes (grammatical and others). If you need one, talk to her.)
Regarding the next chapter, we’re still in drama mode, but I think it turned out good. And as for the last one in Fast Pass, I don’t want to spoil it, but it gets pretty intense.
I’ll be on vacation this week and the next and, although I have the flu, I’m taking the opportunity to rest my hand, play “Daymare: 1994”, and give my brain some time to relax. This means that the next chapter will be the last before a final hiatus in the series. I need some time to mature what needs to happen in the final chapters so everything ends as it must end.

¡Jaja, no me di cuenta de que el capítulo de hoy caía en Navidad! Felices fiestas, supongo. Por fin se ha desmoronado la torre de naipes, pero eso sólo significa que hay que construir una nueva, y esta vez con pilares sólidos. No os voy a mentir: habrá algunos baches en el camino; pero ya sabíamos que tenía que pasar tarde o temprano. Después de curar las heridas y admitir los errores, llegará la primavera, y las parejas que estén destinadas a estar juntas, lo estarán.
En el capítulo vemos cómo Óliver se comporta de una manera muy impropia de él, pero no creo que sea una reacción incomprensible después de haberse enterado de todas las mentiras de Adara. Hacer que esta lea la carta en voz alta es una manera de hacer que Bertrán tenga la misma información que él y que Fiorina.
Recuerdo que, cuando estaba escribiendo este capítulo, estaba pensando en la escena y en quién debería estar allí. ¿Sólo Bertrán? ¿Los dos primos? ¿Los cuatro? Al final iban a estar Bertrán y Óliver, y luego iban a ir a hablar con Fiorina, que no querría salir de su habitación. Pero de repente se me ocurrió que Fio se fuera sin que nadie la viera, y que le dijera a alguien que no quería ver a Adara. Me pareció que funcionaba muy bien, pero luego, mi proofreader me sugirió que lo cambiara por algo más drástico: Fio no quería ver a Adara NUNCA MÁS. Al principio pensé que Fio no diría algo así, pero luego entendí que tenía mucho sentido que dijese eso en un primer momento y que más adelante pudiera arrepentirse. Y además quedaba genial como cliffhanger.
Aprovecho para comentar que mi proofreader canadiense, Kiley Venables, es la razón por la que los diálogos de mis webcómics no están llenos de errores (gramaticales y de otros tipos). Si necesitáis una, poneos en contacto con ella.
Respecto al siguiente capítulo, seguimos en modo drama, pero creo que quedó bastante bien. Y en cuanto al último de Fast Pass, no quiero hacer spoilers, pero la cosa se pone bastante intensa.
Os aviso de que esta semana y la siguiente estoy de vacaciones y, a pesar de que he pillado una gripe, estoy aprovechando para descansar la mano, jugar a “Daymare: 1994”, y airear la mente. Esto significa que después del próximo capítulo habrá una última pausa en la serie. Necesito un tiempo para poder madurar lo que tiene que suceder en los capítulos finales para que todo acabe como tiene que acabar.
