DESCRIPTION

The Cathedral Book Nook is a slim design that gives your bookmarks a home while adding a little medieval charm to your bookshelf. It holds an LED tea light, creating a warm glow through the cathedral windows. It prints quickly, uses very little filament, and adds plenty of character without taking up much shelf space.

Print Settings

Recommended Settings

Layer Height: 0.16 mm

Walls: 3

Infill: 5% Gyroid

Supports: None

Brim: Outer brim recommended for better bed adhesion

Using these settings, the model prints in about 9 hours and uses approximately 173 g of filament.

Faster Print Option

Layer Height: 0.20 mm

Walls: 2

It still looks great with these settings if you'd like to save some print time.

Filament

Basic White PLA

I recommend printing it in white PLA since it reflects the LED light much better. Darker colors, especially black, tend to absorb the light and produce a dimmer effect.

LED Lights Used

These are the LED lights I designed this model around:

Happy printing!
