I decided it was a little harsh to restrict what people can make guest comics about - I used the example of someone asking for the Axe Dimension and it doing permanent brand confusion to the series - so now all Guest Episodes will be told through the lens of Durengal watching orbs. The Interdimensional Cable approach.I think I'm going to physically mail out redeemable vouchers for Guest Episodes with the next Sticker Club, so I can pepper a few randomly into the lower tiers for fun.Getting back to the WED/SAT/SUN posting schedule would be good, and then maybe we ease back into a faster schedule once that's locked in.

I would have to condense this timeline down another 2 weeks to have the book ready for Wellycon. That might be worth it.

Either way, I want Swords #1001 to be an easy jumping on point for new readers

I'm letting you know in advance that I am pulling AXES and THE PATREON SWOR'NAMENT from Instagram, Webtoon and swordscomic.com, so they can be Patreon exclusive (free). To keep the overall brand healthy I need to start curating what new readers see and when they see it. Expect those changes in the coming weeks.

Once my contract work is done and my taxes are sorted, I'm going to put in a big order of stickers, badges, bookmarks and Quest Sprout/Choplet enamel pins for Wellycon. I've been pulling my punches for a long time waiting for things to improve and there is no such thing as optimal conditions. Time to invest in myself.

SWORDS: RPGRPG Maker have just announced a new 2.5 HD version, in the style of something more like Paper Mario or Octopath Traveller - I think it's worth waiting a week or two for more info on the new version before I continue making the SWORDS: RPG in earnest. I think for now I'll do more pen and paper planning about what I want the game to be.I still strongly think that making a little game by myself and then expanding a team around it is the way to go.SWORDS: CTDI'll be working on a prototype for the expansion that I can get feedback on at Wellington Armageddon and Wellycon in the coming months. I'm unclear if I'll be helping at the boardgame area of Armageddon next weekend - still waiting on confirmation.

MISCOne of my two contracts has finished and the due date on the second one is tomorrow, so my emotional availability should be ramping up shortly. Thank you for your patience.

I have been home alone since Tuesday and my routine has broken down. Randomly falling asleep at 9, waking up at 2 to the sound of a man screaming... then having to chase teenagers off my roof... Doing contract work at 5am... I'm trying to just trust my instincts and do what feels most important in the moment.
