I spent the weekend at Wellington Armageddon Expo! Yay!

I was tucked away in a side area demoing my card game, so even though I was stocking the Quest Sprout comic, most of those sales came from the copies being sold at the New Zealand Comic Creators table. I sold about 8 copies of Cut The Deck at my own table though! Not bad. Thanks for stopping by either stall!

Shoutout to that guy who purchased a Quest Sprout comic 2 minutes after the event opened on Sunday. What a legend.My art was also on display at the Dream Team Supreme stall, meaning my work was on three different stalls this year! A new record!

I wore a Quest Sprout shirt on two out of the three days of the con. A few people waved and greeted me by name or shouted "Qwest!" as I was walking around the convention. A really nice and wholesome vibe.There was a kid also wearing a Quest Sprout shirt - I don't think he realized who I was when I pre-emptively shouted "Qwest!" at him.

Some younger kids made up their own rules for Cut The Deck after I explained how to play, which was an interesting experience. They really seemed to like shuffling the Move cards and essentially letting the game play itself.

Thanks to fans who stopped by for a chat and gave me some insights into mechanics they want to see more of.

Now that multiple contracts, taxes and a convention are done, I'm doing what I can to clear my own ledger. Still lots of work ahead of me over the next few weeks to get everything running smoothly and get Swords into a forward-thinking position for the next 1000 episodes.

I will be at the New Zealand Games Festival May 10.
