[2 new SWORDS episodes]
The week started with some mild food poisoning, but I defeated it like a champ. I've been sugar-free all week and everything from my eyeballs to my ankles have been experiencing odd pains while my body adjusts. It doesn't help that Wellington is crazy cold right now. I've also been watching House MD and now assume every creak in my body is a life-threatening malady.
I've decided to walk away from some big responsibilities that were weighing me down. I've looked at the situation and I'm not doing anyone any favours by toughing my way through it. They've been nothing but distractions chipping away at my mental health all year.
I'm about half done cleaning my office. I can almost move around! There are many boxes of Cut the Deck and Dice and Playmats taking up corners.
I'm crafting a new posting routine for Reddit and it's working pretty well so far. A few 8k posts here and there add up.I attended Wellington Zinefest this weekend and dropped off a dozen signed copies of The Adventures Of Quest Sprout to the zine trading table - they were all gone by the end of the day. I hope everyone enjoyed them! Then I ran around buying a whole bunch of stickers for myself.Altruism is cool and my office is a mess, so let's align interests and any donations to my Ko-Fi from now until the end of the month, I'll donate copies of the Quest Sprout comic to more local events, libraries, maker spaces and that sort of thing. Much appreciated.
There was a rendering mistake while we were working on Cut The Deck, which resulted in the Banner and Stat of every Hero turning red. Turns out we like it, so we're leaning in.
I can't believe it's the end of Q2 already!!! Shoot. I've still got a long to-do list I need to burn though but I also want to stay bundled up on the couch. Life is all about choices.
