[Archived] Dodo Flexi and Crate Container

Im excited to share the dodo flexi with you today! A dodo is something I've been meaning to make for the longest time, and it is finally here. I am hoping I was able to convey that silly demeanor that I think they had.

🦤 Dodo Flexi 🦤

• 3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, support free and supports required versions.

• I don't recommend going below 100%, tested up to 200%

• I didn't want to cut the feet flat, so they are a little bit wobbly but they do stand! Give them a shake and plop them down firmly and they should hold.

• I've included a glue in face that is support free. I've also included print in place version that requires supports. Presupported 3MF included!

Editing 3MF

• Avoid using the slicer's fill tool when coloring eyes, Iris, and beak in the 3MF files, because they are split to parts. Instead, assign color to them from the object list to make the edges look cleaner. Do not split to objects. 



• Please note that 3MFs will load with a custom profile that I used to print these models. Double check your settings prior to printing.

✨ Crate container ✨

• 2 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, no supports

• 100% dodo fits into 100% crate

• The lid is very tolerance depended. You may need to decrease or increase scale by 0.5% to 1% depending on how tight or loose your fit is. this will also vary between filaments. If it is tight but movable try moving it back and forth until its smoother. If it is too tight and wont fit then scale down 0.5%. If it is too loose scale up 0.5 - 1% depending on how loose it is.

• I think these would work well as a blind box set up
