We’ve shared game improvements with you more than once already, but every time we look at the updated backgrounds, we can’t help wanting to study all the details again and again, haha.
And, of course, this is very different from regular drawing (like sprites or CGs), sketches in the usual sense aren’t used here:
As layer after layer of mass is built up, the art gradually begins to take on recognizable shapes:
After many iterations, the CG starts to look like a real painting!
