PRAISE BE! FLASHGITZ FRIDAY IS HERE! It’s been another great week for production, but first, it looks like Space King has been showering his favorite fans with gifts (that you paid for) throughout the week!

You all look so handsome with your beautiful hoodies and big fat cereal boxes. Space King would be very proud of you all :’) They’re still shipping out, so if you still haven’t received your order, don’t freak out! Soon you’ll be able to hold your new toys up like a fisherman, then you can make posts on social media about how sharp the Hatemace keychain is and how you almost sat on it.
But just like the epic cartoons that you guys pay for, the cereal box also went through several stages of production. Check these bad boys out!

Now for the production news you all clamor so much for. Today’s gonna be an easy day. I’m just gonna show you guys a handful of cool stuff, then we can all get back to waiting by the mailbox for the cereal boxes. Sound good?We’re nearing final stages of preproduction! We have a lot of the assets drawn and rigged, walk cycles are being animated, and the animatic is almost locked in, so we’ll soon be able to begin animation for the rest of the episode!
“Walk cycles? What kind of walk cycles?” What a smart question from such a handsome little patron. We’re having a few animators work on different walk cycles so, among other reasons, the rest of the animators don’t have to bother themselves with re-creating the way a character runs. It can stay in the same style as the rest of the show without the need for correcting them continuously. Check out a few of the run cycles that we’ve been developing!

This run belongs to someone who’s running a bit more urgently - someone who’s worried they left the oven on.
With open hands and stiffer poses, this Star Defender has VERY urgent business. He’s probably on his way to the nearest unkilled alien right now.
