You’re a very lucky boy today, Brother, for I come bearing production updates for Space King 5 that’s sure to make you fly into an excited psycho-frenzy. Production has been steadily continuing as we’re nipple-deep in compositing, VFX, and making beautiful music for the episode. It’s all coming together to form our biggest and most action-packed episode yet! Today, I’ve brought a handful of composited shots (composited meaning the background, animation, lighting, and VFX are all combined into one shot.) Plus, a few shots showing off some of the VFX we’re working on. We’re very proud of those :-)
But don’t just take my word for it! See for yourself!
Imagine how hard our VFX artist has it when we don’t even have a real jetpack to use as reference. Well we have one, but it doesn’t have blue flames.

This week on Tom and Don, we’re doing another lore dive into the Blood Angels! The sophisticated and polite twink vampire chapter that also happens to be pretty cool. Did you know recruits are transformed into Blood Angels by sleeping in a coffin? I can’t imagine the comments we’d get if we pulled anything like that. But somehow, they make it work!

Well, Brothers, that does it for this Flashgitz Friday! I hope it was as good for you as it was for me.
