A date? With Nel? And she’s the one who’s initiated? There’s no way…Are you dreaming? Is any of this real? You start to pinch your cheek as you think of what to wear on your date the next day. It’s real…You’ll be having a date with Nel. Surely it’s the friend type of date, right? I mean it’s Nel we’re talking about here. But what if….just what if…it carried something more? You can’t help but fill your mind with wishful thinking as you toss and turn on your bed. With how much you’re turning, surely Nel would realize….She doesn’t. She’s still sleeping soundly right next to you. Normally she’d be up all night keeping watch if there’s any souls brave enough to strike at night but because of the amped up security of the new place you have and Aryn’s reassurance, she can at least relax like this for the meantime….You stare at her defenseless sleeping face and your heart starts to beat faster. You can’t help but feel like a kid about to go on a field trip the next day again as you scoot in just a little closer to her…As you drift off to sleep, you can’t help but wonder what your date with her awaits you…
