Context:
It was one of those usual days where you get to spend more time with your precious Kat. The usual banter and teasing, until you hear someone phasing in for a visit. It was Morphie, alone for that matter. This was definitely unusual, given that Morphie doesn’t usually leave her premises if there was no emergency and in the case that she does, she usually has someone there to aid her in case anything were to happen. For Morphie to come visit you alone was already enough to set the alarm bells in your mind from ringing. Yet…she was calm. There was no visible strain seen from her body. Still you remain worried with this sudden visit. She reassures you that she’s in good condition and that she’s not only here to visit but to also seek advice from you. Your tense shoulders start to relax when you notice that she was telling the truth. Her concern was regarding Nel. It seems that there’s a storm that’s about to approach her and Morphie is asking for your aid to talk to the Fates regarding Nel’s situation. You agree to her request and will be discussing such matters soon. Once that was set, Morphie and Kat start to catch up with how things are going in their respective situations. You find it heartwarming to find the two finally having the time to talk to each other in such a relaxed atmosphere but such things don’t seem to last long. While having the usual banter with Kat and her hiding behind Morphie, she suddenly freezes up and winces as if she were in pain. Morphie notices this as well and checks up on her, only to realize that her temperature went up. Kat’s face had gotten flushed and for some reason she was shaking. You could see her panting and holding on to Morphie for her dear life. You then start to piece together what’s happening…with Morphie’s explanation and the symptoms being similar to that of a hybrid being in heat, you don’t hesitate to pull Kat back to your embrace before she does something that she’ll regret….
