Happy New Year! I’ve been quiet for a couple months because I’ve been deep in research planning for 2026. Every year I end up making videos on only 2 different movies and I'm hoping to expand to cover a variety of different movies/topics this year.
I'm also planning on bringing back Cinema Stories! I've wanted to bring it back for years. It has been particularly difficult without a dedicated set, but I'll soon have one when we move into our new place. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law have made this all possible and my brother-in-law has been single-handedly converting this workshop into a space for my office/set. It is a very exciting time for us to be much closer to family and having a much more permanent living situation (we've had to move 6 times in the past decade).
Here's where I need YOUR help: Apocalypse Now, Alien, Full Metal Jacket, The Thing, etc. were all the most suggested movies on my last survey. Now, I have a new survey that will shape the videos I make for the foreseeable future.
