For awhile I wondered what sound effect to go with for the first panel, then I went with, "WHABWHUB WUBWUBWUP" which... I like to think is an onomatopoeia you commonly hear in sci-fi when high-techy things charge up.
As a (neurodivergent) alien, Pridestar's innate survival mechanism allows him to mirror the locals and blend in for adaption. Rather than being a doppleganger, Pridestar reflects qualities of others which he admires, while still retaining his own free will and personal preferences. He's also not as buff or strong as Snares, since he hasn't quite adapted to the local gravity yet.
Hope you've all had an opportunity to celebrate Pride Month and what it means to you. I've added the pride colors in panel 2 for anyone noticing. I probably don't want to bore everyone with my thoughts on rainbow capitalism, but it's always worth remembering queer history, the challenges faced and privileges we take so easily for granted today.
