HELLO THERE, cherished bros. Another Monday has snuck up on us, and you know what that means: time for the obligatory Monday post. Let’s do this!
… … … Let’s start with the bad news first, just to get it out of the way. Apparently, the Censored Gaming guy passed away, and quite a while back too. I had no idea. We used to chat with him a lot back in the day. He even did an interview with me at the beginning of his career. Later, when his channel took off, we decided to take the interview down so as not to attract the wrong attention to either him or me. Uff… this sucks. The older you get, the more you encounter news like this. That’s just life. I’m still in denial though… Ugh… Let’s just move on.
RANDOM STUFF. Didn’t know how to follow up the previous news, so I might as well go with this: a picture of a retro setup a user by the name of JopaSruchkoi sent me. It’s nothing too special, I suppose, but it feels so… warm. MrLAZARE (STRIKES AGAIN!) Alright, I hope your palate has been cleansed a bit so we can get back to talking about silly stuff. MrLazare (our favorite merchandiser man) sent me a photo of his new gigantic mouse mat with a Princess Quest wallpaper printed on it. Yeah, I know, the drawing itself is an AI creation, but it looks awesome. Anyway, that’s the news: MrLazare has a new cool mouse mat. (Go play Princess Quest, guys—I hear it’s absolutely the best thing ever.)
IRIS FANART (COMMISSION). A cherished bro by the name of EventSpawn sent me this Iris fanart he commissioned. The art is as NSFW as it gets, so I can’t share it in a public post, and sharing it in a paid post felt odd, so all you get is this cropped version. THE GAMES (1). With that out of the way, let’s talk about the important stuff: my Luminous Arc 2 playthrough. I’m almost done with the game. I love everything about it but the writing, which continues to stay at a stable “meh” level. That being said, the hot spring event I recently experienced was quite nice. Surprisingly, there was little to no innuendo, a big missed opportunity if you ask me. But what I did like was every character getting her own swimsuit to show off. That event reminded me of a similar one in my beloved Stella Glow, where the writing was solid, but all the characters were wearing the same towel during the scene, which was kind of lame to be honest with you. -_-
THE SHOP! I decided to add Princess Trainer to the shop. I explain why in the description for the game in the store. So yeah, I don’t really have anything else to say about this. I’d tell you “go play it,” but I think all of you have already done that at least once anyway.
THE GAMES (2). By the way, Vanessa made a cameo appearance in the game. She was the main villain girl in the previous game, and it was really nice seeing her again. (Even though it reminded me that I didn’t have enough bonding points to unlock her romance ending in the first game). If I ever revisit LA1, it would be for her. Oh and in case you are curious, the “Black Frost Lv1” girl is Fatima. She is the main villain girl in this game, and you can romance her as well. As you can see, the devs have a very similar theme going with their romanceable villain girls. The villain girl from Stella Glow had the same aura, but she was basically flat for some reason. Still, her romance ending was one of the best I’ve ever seen in a (non-VN) video game.
THE WORK. Unfortunately, last week I had a medical emergency that consumed two full workdays to take care off, and because of that I wasn’t as productive as I had planned.
