HELLO, my dear patient bros! Welcome to another Monday post. Let's discuss some completely random topics I’ve collected for you over the last week. Are you ready? Let’s do this!
BLACK FLAG REMASTER! To be honest, I don’t even care anymore, but I still want to at least mention it since I like the game. My news feed is full of silly comparisons trying to prove that some things are getting nerfed or changed for the worse, while other people are fighting tooth and nail in the comments to prove that the remaster is actually going to be a huge improvement. Personally, I have multiple ways to play the original game—Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, emulation, you name it—so I really don’t care about any of this. But I’m sure the remaster bros will get a kick out of it when it drops :)
THE SHOP. This week’s shop item is an old piece that was commissioned by a certain Nordic fan. This time, I was able to locate the actual PSD file for it, so those of you who are interested in that should appreciate it. Anyway, go check it out in the shop for yourself.
STEAM. I tested the Steam achievements for Princess Quest yesterday, and everything seems to be working as it should. I’m very happy I was able to do this myself without getting Xaljio involved and making his life more complicated than it needs to be. ^_^ So anyway, I submitted the game for re-review. It should take another 3 to 5 days. If it gets greenlit, I can go ahead and release it. Fingers crossed :)
SHINING BLADE. I bought a little present for myself. I say “little” because it was quite cheap—around 10 bucks, not including shipping. My PSP collection has officially expanded to 6 games. I use my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro (my dedicated PSP machine) to play these games, so I don’t really need to buy them physically. But having them on my shelf really makes me feel good inside, and that happens less and less as I get older, so I cherish these emotions and the physical things that give them to me.
THE FUTURE SUCKS. Opening the game reminded me how much things have gone to shit in the past 15 years. This is a regular edition game, and it contains a full-color manual that looks more like a small artbook, along with a whole bunch of other colorful additions. #^_^#
LUMINOUS ARC 3. My main (story-driven) game continues to be LA3. I’m having so much fun with it. The writing is very entertaining and, although the main story is still mostly slice-of-life for now, it’s extremely enjoyable (for me at least). The latest big event was the royal princess Inaluna getting transferred to our academy, and she is just wonderful. I can’t wait for some romantic events with her XD
THE WORK. Last week, I was mostly busy working on two new characters who will be appearing in Reporter Trainer at a certain point in the story. To keep it short: one is an April O’Neil superfan, and the other is a mean girl from a wealthy family. For more details, check out this week’s EXTRA!! post.
AND THAT IS ALL I have to say. Thank you for your support, and I will see you all next week. Laterz.-Aka-
