Important update: Patreon pause and more!
Greetings Seekers! A Quick Update on Our Journey ☕
It’s been a bit quiet around here lately, and we wanted to take a moment to share some important updates with you, my seekers!

We won’t be charging you on Patreon until further notice, so you can stay subscribed and continue to get updates without worrying about your payments!
Now, let’s dive into the details and break it all down!
Why the Silence?
First of all, we want to thank you all for your patience. The past month has been quieter than usual, and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, trying to figure out the next steps. Here’s what’s been going on:
The Game is Undergoing a Fundamental Redesign.
We’ve decided that the game needs a bit of a makeover. While we’ve always had a vision for this project, we’ve come to realize that there’s a lot more work to be done to make it the kind of experience we all want. Specifically, the story needs A LOT more spicy content—and that’s going to take some time to refine. We realized late that, for being a sex game, Soulgasm had very little sex in it.
Team Hit a hard Roadblock.
Unfortunately, the writers didn’t quite deliver as expected. Neither did our game designer since day one, nor the 90% of the artists that passed under our umbrella. The team was unable to meet the vision we had for the narrative design and flow, which led to terrible delays and severe consequences for the overall design of the game.
We might have caught it late, but now we’ve realized our mistake and got this under control.
The Captain Takes Over the Rewrite.
As a result of this, The Captain is now stepping in to rewrite the whole game’s story! This is a big task, and it’s going to take some time to ensure everything is up to snuff. As with any creative process, it requires focus, energy, and a bit of a reset, so we’re taking things one step at a time.
Once the rewrite is completed, we’ll be reaching out to the few trusted writers we have to help move production forward. But until then, we’re going to hold tight on certain aspects of the game’s development.
No New Resources, No Need for Patreon Charges Until Further Notice.
Since the game isn’t in active production at the moment—apart from the Captain’s story rewrite—we’ve decided that there’s no immediate need to keep the Patreon open for payments. Your support means the world to us, but we’re giving everyone a bit of a breather until we’re ready to kick things into high gear again.
The Team is Going Through Some Changes
As if things weren’t challenging enough, Polly (🦜) is heading out on maternity leave. Huge congratulations to Polly! But, as you can imagine, this means we’ll be short-handed for a while when it comes to implementing new content into the game engine and to producing regular updates.
As for the rest of the team, everyone except our trusty artist Sharkira 🦈 (And of course, Polly) have been put in hold until The Captain figures the whole game design.
The Game Development WILL Continue.
We can imagine some of you might be worried that the game shall be permanently paused, and that's absolutely not the case!
The Captain is committed to this project, and we just need some time to get back to it. The game didn’t take off as expected, and we realize there’s a lot of work left to make it the game we all dreamed it would be.
Before we can dive back into full-scale production, The Captain needs to recover mentally, spiritually, and, very importantly, financially. It’s been a tough ride and we need a few months to sort things out.
What’s Happening in the Meantime?
While the game production is on pause, The Captain will be focusing on fulfilling commissions for our Exquisite Triple Shot Gingerbread Frappé Patrons (you know who you are!). It’s a great way to keep the creative juices flowing and keep the connection going with our amazing supporters while we regroup and plan for the next chapter.
