Zara and RJ really missed the mark today man, they thought they were gonna have the place for themselves and now random characters keep arriving.
It is kind of sad that while one group is throwing a completely improvised party the other has to work but who knows, maybe after this they'll come in and have a good time.
Bonus page for the Our House comic and actually, my third attempt at writing a bonus gag page but the First that didn't end up becoming part of the narrative. This one though, is more of an extra thing, you need to know the two groups for this to mean anything so I guess this one is just for my enjoyment. And maybe some of yours.
Now I kind of want to go back to the main comic and draw like one or two locusts somewhere. I've been wanting to draw the Whisperers going incognito as plage control for a while and while this is not the ultimate expression of that, I finally found a chance to do it.
Not sure how canon this one is though. Because, while I do like the idea of the WornDown Children and the Whispers encounter being random and unimportant, I might want to actually have another one and explore dynamics between characters. I don't wanna spoil stuff but like Diana and Tony instantly having a crush on Vero or Ian being recognized.
Tough, with Nicole and company going incognito we could easily pretend that the band can't recognize them later and have their actual first encounter later.
Also, Fun and absolutely useless fact: In my mind both Diana and Vero have the same voice actress.

Another uniportant thing, this is Old Katnay lore but only while finishing this I actually remembered that the old prototype versions of Nicole and RJ used to be best friends. So it was fun to draw them together again.
And lastly, Dimitri and Dominique didn’t attend the party because when Dalia and Sylvie went they realized that now they'd have the place for themselves.
