Translator++ 8.6.3 up to the latest 8.7.1 brings two big additions: NetCollab for team translation, and agentic support as another optional way to interact with Translator++.
The GUI is still the main Translator++ experience. These features do not replace it. They simply add more choices: teams can work together more easily, and users who like AI agents can ask them to help with repetitive or technical tasks.

NetCollab - Translate together with your team
Do you have a large translation project that needs to be worked on with a team of translators? You can do it with Translator++, and you don’t need to pay extra to host your project in the cloud. Just run the server, and anyone who has Translator++ and connected to your machine can help you translate your project.
NetCollab brings Google-Sheets-style teamwork to Translator++. So, there is little to no learning curve. With a single click, a user can host a project and other team members can join over the network to collaborate in real time. This eliminates the need to constantly passing project files back and forth.
Agentic Support - Control Translator++ with the AI agent of your choice
As AI becomes more prominent, the way people interact with applications is changing. Users are increasingly comfortable issuing commands to AI agents instead of manually navigating the GUI. Since this paradigm is shifting, Translator++ supports agentic workflows to meet these needs and stay aligned with modern usage patterns.
Translator++ can now be controlled by CLI agents such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cline, and VS Code Copilot.
This is not a GUI replacement. It is an assistant layer for users who want to say things like:
"Find untranslated rows in this file."
"Check whether the translation preserves line counts."
"Create an automation script for this cleanup task."
"Test this translator engine configuration."
Through the Basic Utility API, agents can inspect project files, read and write cells, find untranslated text, refresh the grid, work with translator engines, and create or run automation scripts. Version 8.6.24 also improves this workflow with portable Python initialization and documentation for bundled tools such as `wget.exe`, `7za.exe`, and the standalone Node.js downloader.
Other Highlights
SheetParser, CustomParser, YuRisParser, XMLParser, JSONParser, VNTextPatch, and related tools received one-click project update improvements.
TransLLMBatchAPI added API-key testing in the batch dialog, fixed Gemini batch startup issues, and updated its model list.
TransChatGPT updated supported models for Anthropic, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenAI, and Gemini.
RMRGSS fixed an RPG Maker VX Ace newline issue in database data.
RenParser 0.17 fixed message command capture.
YuRis Parser and NetCollab received latest-version refinements in 8.7.1.
In short, this update is about flexibility. You can keep using Translator++ normally through the GUI, collaborate with a team through NetCollab, or let an AI agent help with tasks when that feels useful.
