Dev Log 80

Hey guys, it's dev log time again!

I'll start this one by calling back to the last one: I'm sure most of you remember that I was a little worried about putting out dev logs every two weeks with nothing really interesting to report during the rendering phase, but the overwhelming majority actually seemed to like the more frequent check-ins, so I'm happy to continue doing them! Though as with previous updates, they'll turn into mini dev logs for a while in the middle of development.

So, speaking of mini dev logs: I'm happy to report that I've had a productive couple of weeks. I completed 200 renders for 0.15, and also started work on some of the environments I'll need to make for it.

This one contains some important scenes that are outside in the open, with (theoretically) long views of the scenery in the background. This is something that I haven't really done much of before, simply because the maps to make it work don't really exist (at least not that I can find anyway). So that means making them myself, hopefully in a way that doesn't look like crap, which will probably be time consuming and a bit of a learning experience - though with any luck it won't quite be on the same level as smashing up the cafe in 0.14!

And that's all I've got to report for this one - told you it'd be short! - so I'll finish off with a little custom render set of everyone's favourite girl!
