Getting through the Bricks And Mini-Figs investigation was intense.

That said: now that it's finished I can finally sit down and share some last pieces behind the scenes before I put this behind me.
First: I am totally amazed no one is furious yet. Normally in a Coffeezilla investigation, someone has gotten angry by now about being exposed. The old "I used to like Coffeezilla" trope is undefeated for a reason, but so far I've heard nothing. In fact, the Gormons, Bricks and Mini-Figs corporate, Reckless Ben, and Bryan Mansell all reacted positively to the video.
I don't have a perfect explanation for this, but I'm guessing that everyone involved ended up thinking they came out of this ahead, which is very... uhh... interesting.... given the facts of the case.
Second, I wanted to address this police report from the Keizer Police Department which first appeared in this Legal Eagle video and completely contradicts Josh Johnson's claims that there weren't many layaways at the store.
If you recall I asked Josh Johnson how many layaway there were at the time of the 11-14-24 takeover and he replied "2-3". This was hard to reconcile with the Gormon's story of having several dozen layaways at the time of the store takeover.
But this 2025 police report describes Josh Johnson claiming "there were many items in the back of the store at that time, but said the vast majority of them were layaway items"
Another story change!... Josh Johnson appears to have claimed in 2025 that there were a "majority" of layaway items in the back of the store, only to say in 2026 there were "2-3". Complete reversal.
I confronted Josh on this and he blamed the police officer, or a mistake by him.
"Oh that's understandable. I was out of my mind angry""I was pissed""Nothing I said was coherent or reliable"
These are not good explanations for why facts in a story are changing so much, and I wanted to address this since at the time of my video, I was not aware of this police report backing up the Gormons' side of the story.
Lastly: I wanted to share the Bricks and Mini-Figs photos from the Gormons and Brandon Best, (attached) as well as the spreadsheet (link to google sheets) that I relied upon for this investigation. It's a .zip file for Patrons who want to do some more digging.
