I've had an urge to work on something analog lately. Well, I've had this set for nearly a year now after rescuing it from the dumpster. Figured it might make an interesting video so I've held off from testing it (as I like to make sure any explosions get recorded). I used to work on a lot of TVs back in the day. My dad worked as an electronics repair man also. He worked on a lot of TVs so I picked up a lot from watching him. Really want to get into it again. Fortunately, these sets are very much coming back in vogue so perhaps there will be some interest in this type of content. Don't worry though, I'm not abandoning the computers! But I want to see what a potential mid-week upload of general electronics repair might look like. If I were to go full-time, this is what I would pepper in between the usual weekend computer content. CRT TVs pop up in my junk searching escapades pretty rarely. I usually pass them up because they are space hogs. However, if people really like these types of videos I'll certainly make room for more of them.
