Is it such a terrible fate?
Some of my earliest exposure to furry artwork in like its strictest sense involved a juxtaposition of space travel and nudity. I encountered this kind of thing in some vague ways before but it really sinks the hook in when you see it in pictures. Sometimes it's the crew of those ships, and sometimes it's the locals of a distant world on which you find yourself an unexpected guest. Hopefully a welcome one.
I didn't make him a pine marten exactly, but they were on my mind and were a kind of obvious inspiration. The climate here probably isn't too friendly to such a species, so let's say I just made up my own for the occasion.
