Under the Sun
Juno’s always been the kind of vixen to follow her heart without much regard for convention. I don’t think she’s especially rebellious, it’s just that she doesn’t give a lot of authority to propriety in the first place, which is how we wind up in situations like this. And it usually turns out for the best that she gives her companions a sort of implicit permission to relax and break a few rules. Besides which, I like to think that every beach has a little secluded corner you can sneak off to for some fun under the sun.
Some gentle application of the airbrush tool at the color thumbnail stage gave me color gradients I desperately wanted to stay faithful to in the finished product, mostly highlighting the area around her belly and the surrounding blanket and sand. Thank goodness she’s wearing her hibiscus again – I think she looks delightful with it, and a little exotic too. It’s also the reason I mirrored the early sketches, as I mentioned in the WIP post.
Welcome to new patrons, thanks for supporting my art, and I hope everyone who’s ever wanted a lazy summer pawjob gets their wish 🌠
