Alright, things are starting to go smoothly. Here's where we're at:
All camera work for Scenes A, B, C, D, and G is now finished. The only scene left for camera work is Scene F, the longest one, which I am now in the progress of working on. Although I won't be able to "complete" it until the specialized character is fully animated, I can get it very close to finished if I keep up the pace this week. I have yet to receive a recent update from the animator I've hired for the specialized character, but they've supposedly started on it and I'm expecting to hear from them soon enough.
Now, here is perhaps the best news so far. After finishing up on C, I sought out finding a VFX animator to do the "snow" effects that I'm personally not capable of doing. Rather than seeking one out via a job board as I usually do, I decided on using one of those "freelancers for hire" websites. It's a little more expensive, but thus far, I seem to have found professionals that are more than capable of producing the results I've been seeking. Supposedly, I will be receiving the results of this hire on the 24th, and I'll know for sure whether this will work out. If everything goes as smoothly as advertised, I may have finally found the adequate help I've been looking for. I plan on using this service for the "snow" effects on F and possibly all the water effects if it seems feasible. This will prove very expensive, but completely doable because of this Patreon. So thank you for that.
Additionally, this week, I found a software that is able to automate a lot of the physics animations I was planning on hiring out for. I successfully implemented the software in scenes A and C and it's just saved me a huge chunk of time.
Things are working out so far. The only thing that has me worried is the specialized character. My timeline hinges completely on getting that done. Hopefully, we will be seeing the end in sight soon. Thank you.
