DESCRIPTION

I had a few requests for a gargoyle and with the Forbidden Love event coming up in my schedule, I went a head and pushed him ahead. I've been wanting to make one for the longest time, but it was daunting just thinking about it.

Because what do you mean I can sculpt a nice looking gargoyle? He's not perfect, but I am so fucking proud of him. April back in January could never have sculpted this...

He's a pretty simple print. Single color, though you can change the base if you like. I went ahead and added a 2 color option in the 3mf project file. I think he will look amazing out on my patio so I'll be working on some blown up project files for everyone.

We are leaving for Tampa tomorrow to vend for an event, so I cannot test print the larger version yet. But when I do, I'll share the 3mf. ( If anyone would like to test print it, let me know and I'll add the bigger 3mf.)

Printer Settings

Standard .20 layer height

5% or 10 % gyroid infill

Slim Tree Supports. ( you can turn it to on build plate only, but you will have to clean up some minor stringing underneath. Choose your poison. ) The supports under his body really aren't too bad, I designed him with slant but it wasn't enough to avoid supports completely.

I thought about having him sit, but I really wanted him to look like he was going to take off to go do gargoyle things. Or take a shit. Honestly could be either. lol

My Creative Process

I design all of my models from scratch. I mostly use Nomad Sculpt and occasionally Tinkercad for simple things. I do not use Generative AI in any of my design process. Check out my socials and other posts on here for sculpt and process videos. 😊
