I skinny dipped in a frigid pool and called it a cold plunge

To celebrate the start of 2026, I decided to test my limits a different way - in an absolutely freezing pool in the California desert. I rented a house with my family, and while they were still asleep in the pre-dawn hours, I slipped out of the pool house for a sunrise cold plunge.

The video captures the exact second my body realizes what is happening, from the initial gasp to the total sensory overload of being submerged and naked in the icy pool. It was an incredible way to start the year.
