As we've alluded to a in a few recent posts, we wanted to share with you our plans for this year, especially when it comes to Coffee Buns. We've got a lot to tell, so we won't waste any more here.
Coffee Buns Will Release the First Half of 2026
It might be obvious, but with four more story days of development in Coffee Buns, we're planning on releasing the VN within the next six months. We'll be continuing to share in-progress updates up until that point, though we may hold back some material for the final release.
Coffee Buns Will Cost $15 and That Amount in Patreon Pledges Will Earn You a Copy
Just like with Mice Tea, if you've donated the retail price of Coffee Buns within a year of release, you'll get a copy for yourself. That means that if you sign up today at the $5 Coffee Buns supporter level, you'll be guaranteed a code by the time it comes out.
The Return of Wolf Milf DLC
If you've hung around our Discord, you might have heard at some point that there were vague plans for a Mice Tea DLC featuring a fifth love interest for Margaret that was a middle-aged, business-minded woman who turned into a wolf. We obviously repurposed that character for Coffee Buns in the form of Boss, but we're also bringing back plans to base a DLC around her!
Once we release Coffee Buns, we will start development on a free expansion featuring Boss. She'll be an additional option to choose when picking who to accompany on all the dates, and will be the available route for readers who want a storyline that doesn't feature any sex for the duration of the story. Story updates will be available as they're created for patrons still supporting Coffee Buns, so you'll still have a reason to pledge to the patreon.
Crossed Signals Will Continue Being Developed, Though With Fewer New Art Assets
Since Crossed Signals has a different writer than Coffee Buns, they can continue to plug away at new story updates without impacting Coffee Buns development. However, TheTransformistress draws not only all the non-background art in Crossed Signals, but most of the CGs in Coffee Buns. We've been able to divvy up work for her fairly effectively, but with release approaching and with some art-intensive story days coming up, we decided to divert her almost exclusively on Coffee Buns work.
That means we'll be focusing on story updates to Crossed Signals that require fewer new art assets. Mira will likely be doing some of them, but they might take the form of sketches or other in-progress works. This also means that we'll have to choose the routes we'll be developing, since we'll know which ones feature the least amount of new art. As a result, story polls will be suspended until normal development resumes.

Coffee Buns is coming out Q2 2026, costs $15, will get a free DLC starring Boss, and we're still making Crossed Signals in the meantime
