First of all, I want to apologize for the delay with this post. I honestly lost track of time, and last night I didn’t even realize it was already Sunday until I went to bed. So here we are.
As for last week, it was a very productive one. I sent my wife and kids to visit their grandparents, which gave me some extra time in the office, and I managed to get a lot of work done. I completed a large number of renders. Still not quite enough to release before Christmas, but we’re getting really close.I also received the renders from the other artist and a solid batch of animations from Lovorko. There’s still some work to do on my end that's why the progress bar didn't moved by a lot, like adding extra camera angles and integrating everything into the actual scenes, but that’s what I’ll be focusing on today and maybe tomorrow.
My main goal now is to finish posing everything this week and then let the machines handle the remaining renders and animations during the holidays.
Last week I also mentioned two technical issues: one machine with GPU problems and another limited by the software not allowing batch rendering. The good news is that I should receive the replacement GPU sometime this week, and thanks to one of you, we also found a workaround for batch rendering. So things are looking much better now. I'm still waiting for better integration because right now my workflow is a mess because I have to pose in one older version and do the render test in another, but it's okay.
