Heyo everyone!
It's almost the end of the year, and I think this is a great time to look back at the past year. I also want to take this moment to thank you all for your support that made it possible for me to run this page. It is thanks to you all that I am able to do this!
Over this past year, we explored some cool themes, and there were definitely some highlights for me. Early this year, we had the siege camp, which was great fun. It's still one of my favorites from this year.
The Monster Hunters' Camp was another great one, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
In May, we did a sci-fi theme for a change, and I mapped my favorite Old Republic-era ship, the Ebon Hawk. This was another great change of pace.
The Petrified Hand battlemap was another fun one to work on and really allowed me to add some cosmic horror elements to my setting.
Last month, I did my largest interior map so far. It was challenging, but for this one too, I'm very happy with how it turned out.
Your votes in the polls play a large role in determining which regions we’ll explore next. I'm hoping to do a lot more unique and standout battlemaps this year, to really get the creative juices flowing.
We'll start 2025 with the Farms and Farmsteads theme in January, which has some cozy maps. In February, we’re going to explore a Cults & Swamps theme.
All in all, I'm just super excited for what 2025 will bring, and I hope you'll be along for the ride!
